One tap at the end of the day
In LaneUp, on Today's sheet, your driver taps Send to car owner and sends the file to you, for example on WhatsApp.
- Every time, LaneUp shows what is in the file before it is sent
- Their name, car and number plate, so you know whose trips they are
- Sending the same day again replaces it, so nothing counts twice

How it works
- Your driver uses LaneUpLaneUp is the driver's app. It shows what each ride offer really pays, and keeps the day's trips.
- They send you the dayOn Today's sheet they tap Send to car owner and pick you, for example on WhatsApp.
- You open it in LaneUp OwnerTap the file and pick LaneUp Owner. The trips are added to that car.
Send to car owner needs LaneUp 1.0.7 or newer on the driver's phone.
Your driver decides. Every day.
- Nothing is sent unless your driver taps Send. They choose who gets it and how.
- The file has the day's finished trips only: fares, app fee, petrol and wear, km, times and area names.
- Never full addresses, the car's location, offers they skipped or anything about passengers.
- The file does not go to LaneUp. LaneUp Owner keeps the trips only on your phone.

Questions
Does my driver need LaneUp?
Yes. The trips come from LaneUp on the driver's phone. LaneUp Trip Profit Checker also helps your driver pick rides that are worth it, so your car earns more.
Can I see where my car is?
No. LaneUp Owner is not a tracker. It shows finished trips with area names only, and only the days your driver sends.
Where do the costs come from?
From your driver's LaneUp: the ride app's commission, the petrol price, the car's mileage and the car's costs per km. If a number looks wrong, ask your driver to check LaneUp's Costs tab.
I have more than one car. Does it work?
Yes. Each driver who sends you their day shows up as a car. See all cars together on the overview, or tap one car for its trips.
Is it in Urdu?
The driver's LaneUp is in English and Urdu. LaneUp Owner is in English for now.
How do I get it?
LaneUp Owner is in early testing. Email us from the Google account on your phone and we will add you to the test on Google Play.
