LaneUp: common problems
LaneUp offer reader is greyed out in Accessibility settings
Sometimes Android blocks it and says "Controlled by Restricted Setting". In LaneUp, tap App info (for restricted settings). Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right. Tap Allow restricted settings and use your PIN or fingerprint. Then tap Turn on reader again.
Android says the reader has "full control"
Android says this for every app of this type. LaneUp only reads the ride app's screen. It never taps, accepts or types anything for you.
The badges stop after a few hours
Android may stop apps to save battery. Go to LaneUp's App info › App battery usage. Tap Allow background usage and choose Unrestricted.
The profit figures look wrong
Check the Costs tab: your car, today's petrol price, your real mileage, car costs and the app commission. All profit numbers use these. In the list, a ~ means the distance is a guess. Open the offer and LaneUp reads the real route.
How do I get LaneUp?
LaneUp is in testing now. Join the test with your Google account. Then install it from Google Play.
How do I delete my data?
LaneUp keeps everything on your phone. Clear your history in History › Clear. Or uninstall LaneUp to delete everything. See the privacy policy.
